Hello everybody

Postby 8bitprodigy » Sat Feb 27, 2010 5:15 pm

My name is Chris, and I live in Maryland, I program, and I'm currently working on a game in python, right now.

As far as programming languages, I know (and plan to use) C++ (I like that one), Java (also pretty good), and Python (obviously (and its my favorite)),
and AS3 (I have Flash CS4, but its going Obsolete ): ), and I am still learning JavaScript.

Also, i know HTML/CSS

My favorite game is Team Fortress 2, but unfortunately I keep getting connection errors recently (and, I've found out its not a wireless thing in my case), so I haven't been able to play as much as I would want to.

I have also been watching this project "Open Team Fortress" for the ioq3 engine, but unfortunately, the website is down .

On a non-programming/Gaming note, I do have aspergers (which is quite annoying, might i add).

And, well... thats about it, I hope to be talking to ya guys.

Just a heads-up, you're probably going to get a ton of hate for that giant flashing sig. Also, if you know C++, you might want to pick up on C as well as it's still widely used and if you feel like mucking around with the Quake 3 code, that's all written in C.

Ah man, a reply before I got my edit in!

Some forums encourage people to use large showy sigs in their posts. This one is more subdued. It's kind of like a "more flies with honey than vinegar" thing; there's not a whole lot of people using this forum but they will be more apt to answer questions and help out if the posts don't look too obnoxious.

Hey, maybe I'm wrong on that one, but just wanted to throw that out there for ya!
